Yellow-crowned Night-He
  Date: November 2, 2003

Yel This bird was photographed on October 21 at 6 pm at Pantanos de Villa by a member of the group led by Mario Cabrejos. This is the first record - fide Manuel Plenge - for Lima. Apparantly it is nesting since a juvenile was also seen on October 25. Photographer: Brett Moffat. Merijn Van Leuveen guiding a Kolibri Expedition group however reports seeing a Yellow-crowned Night-Heron at Pantanos de Villa around Oct 16. Makes one think there is a resident pair here!
